So, having started Wicther 3 just a couple of days ago, should I be concerned that two things I’ve watched listened to today (this video and last weeek’s podquisition[1]) have said stuff like “if you thought ROACH was bad…”

[1]Yeah, sometimes I am a week or two behind, because I try and husband my limited list of “things to listen to” so I have something to do so when I work, as opposed to trying youtube music, which inevitably ends up leading off into all sorts of unproductive tangents…

Oh Jim! You missed a great opportunity to point out the flying trees right at the top of the screen in the sky at your video at around 8:08.

I suspect flying trees help make the game “more realistic”.

dynasty warriors games traditionally have fake difficulty settings, with no change in the enemy behavior or pattern, only thing that is different is they have increased health bar and attack, meaning they just become sponges that soak up damage big damage, while dealing increased damage that can kill you in few hits if you’re not properly leveled up.

You know, I *sort of* see why they say “oh you need to play it on hyaaaaarrrrde moéd, ur playing it rong”, the enemies do seem minimally aggressive, and the tiger moved a bit… oh wait, got to the depressed wolves oh dear, but at least the enemy generals seem borderline functional.

I don’t know why anyone would think that was a *defense* of the game though rather than an example of how its fucked.

You know Jim you might want to try Valkyr if you want to just run around meleeing with claws.

Is it just me or are the throw animations with the Chakrams look like they are copied from Kingdoms of Amalur? The way she throws her arms out when she does an AOE around her, the way they hit an enemy in the air or how she kicks herself back when she throws them into the ground look almost exactly the same from Kingdoms of Amalur.

Fuck, even the charging animations look almost identical.
