Podquisition Episode 1: Morality, Ubisoft, and Arse Urine

Your old pal Jim recruits Laura Kate and Miracle of Sound to discuss moral choice systems, Ubisoft’s awfulness, and the unfortunate implications of certain amiibo characters in our inaugural podcast. It’s a good time for your face so stuff it in your ears right now!

You can listen directly here.

Also, check out Laura Kate’s Patreon page!

Also also, check out Miracle of Sound’s channel!

Really fancied the podcast. Keep those guys, they are wicked. But yes, inviting Jonathan and Conrad would only be the most proper thing to do, just that when you do, keep it mostly videogame related, pleeeease.

Everything on this site must now end with the suffix “quisition”. Jimquisition, Podquisition, Reviewquisition, Commentquisition, etc.

Jim sound a bit muffled in comparison to Gavin and Laura . Bit of background noise too .

Also I desperatly need your site to have a favicon so I stop losing it among all my browser tabs .

Technical aspect aside, very glad to have more Jim content. Is this going to be a weekly thing ?

I take offense to the statement that Call of Duty is polished, as a PC gamer.

I know the website’s gonna be constantly improving but my number one request is probably some form of organized browsing based on content type. I see myself wanting to find old podquisitions and jimquisitions as the amount of content balloons.
But anyways this new venture has really revitalized my interest in your work Jim. The escapist’s web design made it an annoyance to do anything there. But this is great!

I’d like to second this. Once this has been going a few months, the not having any organization other than tags is going to be a huge headache.

I’m looking forward to future podcasts. Can’t shake the image of urine shooting out of all of your racist bums.

Yay! Finally!

This is my first time listening to one of Jim’s podcasts, let’s see how it goes!

Also, I know you’re already getting requests for other people to show up. But have you considered having anyone from the LaserTime crew as guests?

Can you update the article with the RSS feed when there is one? I like to listen on my phone.

As it’s on SoundCloud, you can use this service. Worked for me in PocketCast for Android:

Fantastic, I have been following you a couple of years, and always wanted to listen a podcast focus in videogames… That said I also loved podtoid.

I agree only for the PC version, and if your PC is (or was) a beast. I love the fact you can select the type of ability you want to use and how much more open the level layout was, but the integrated power suit abilities that activate automatically (depending on what you’re doing) works great for console players or controller users. As for the level design, I think it complemented the game’s more personally involved story, and also allowed for better strategic positions for enemies (which I think where marginally smarter in this sequel) so you can have an… Read more »
