You people got some good taste in shows right here. A recommendation for Netflix published work is Beasts of no Nation, if you haven’t already seen it, is about child soldiers in Africa, starring Idris Elba as their trainer. All from the viewpoint of a child. It’s one-of-a-kind great, flawless I’d go so far to say honestly. There is also Gerald’s Game, where the premise sounds not too original, but it goes places that make it something else entirely. What happened to that commenter that always used to moan about the lack of game talk in each podcast? Can’t remember… Read more »

The Good Life is one of the best dark comedies on tv right now. The second season is wonderful and I can’t wait for the next episode each week. Black Mirror has its hits and misses but I recommend skipping S01E01 until after you finish the first season unless your English, its difficult to get into unless you fully understand the culture and it has turned quite a few people off of the show that is truly brilliant in most episodes, especially season 4.

That’s weird, tried to post a comment but got ‘awaiting moderation’, but there isn’t even a trace of a link in it, just rambling about DOS2 and stuff

Glad to hear Gav is enjoying Divinity: Original Sin 2. Easily my favourite game of 2017. 120 hours (Normal difficulty) of top-tier cRPG goodness. The game never got old for me. The runes are for wepaons/armour. If you have a little open white circle (or two or three) on the icon for it, you can add a rune to them to buff it. There a special menu “Manage Runes” to add/remove runes. The best advice I can give to people finding it too hard, is too unlock a level of Necromancer for all your characters and buy “Summon Bone Widow”… Read more »

Gav’s so right with DOS2, that is a game you need a fuck-you-it’s-January to get through. I got on to it just after Christmas and it’s just… damn. Can’t bring myself to drop the difficulty to easy, but playing on medium I got the hang of combat about 30-40 hours in I think I stopped consistently having problems and would actually remember to split up the party and position them about better, remember to have all the potions to hand (it’s the first isometric RPG I’ve actually consistently used scrolls and potions that are not just for healing rather than… Read more »

It’s always nice for the update so I don’t have to actually but one to find out that, yes, the XboneX is still a bit toss.

Is Black Mirror just the new “Simpsons did it” now?

You can cheat the music puzzles by pausing and writing it down. I said this last week, but it was the day after the podcast aired so nobody read it. ///////// I have a tendency to quit any game (or task) at the first major hurdle. Just how I am, my wiring is inherently awful. Hulu wouldn’t load yesterday due to slow internet and the fact i don’t know the log-in, I went to bed 2 hours early and told my brother to fix the log-in instead of waiting the 5 minutes it would take. If I lose 30 minutes… Read more »

Fucking Two Worlds Two… Bought that game specifically because at the time everyone was saying how it was a great example of a developer taking criticism for their first game and making something good out of it. Was never once able to get into the game because of their shitty DRM (and this was before Steam refunds).

I’ve recently started watching Critical Role so I’ve watched nothing else or played anything for close to two weeks.

I’ve only watched 2 full episodes of black mirror. The cycle to earn credits one and the implant that replays memories one, both fairly decent but that didn’t hook me fully.

On the subject of Tatu… kind of is Jim’s stream of Elder Scrolls online still available anywhere?
