There’s a rather curious messup with the PSN store again, it seems. For if one were curious enough to see and click on recently released ‘One Eyed Kutkh’ to find out what its like, what you’ll actually get is a trailer for VR-based ‘Monkey King’ along with all its screenshots, leaving nought but a vague description. But if you were to look on ‘Monkey King’s page, you’d get yet more Monkey King trailer and screenshots. I know it has nothing to do with this pocast, but after watching the Nintendo Direct, I love how Splatoon 2 is an ongoing multiplayer game that does new content RIGHT. No dlc packs, no microtransactions, no lootboxes. For a year, they updated the game with new maps, clothes, and weapons at no extra cost. They kept engaged with their community and addressed concerns. And now their first Expansion, at $20, does not split the player base. It adds a new single player campaign and playable Octolings, but you don’t have to buy it to continue to play against everyone… Read more »

The worst part of the whole Frankenstein thing are the inevitable “but it’s a monster, of course it’s not a victim!” fools that ALWAYS show up, showing that no, some people ARE that dumb.

The whole talk about Frankenstein at the beginning confuses me because I wasn’t sure if you anyone involved was talking about the book or the movie. In the movie there is no question the monster is supposed to be sympathetic, even a victim, sure. But in the BOOK, it’s a little more complicated. Sure the monster was immediately abandoned upon his creation and his loneliness and resentment lead him on a path of destruction and revenge against his creator, but at the same time… It led him to kill a bunch of people who had nothing to do with anything.… Read more »
