Having been at gamescom this year and having seen the closing of Hall 9 (for those that didn’t go, that’s where Nintendo and Square Enix are located) on Wednesday (!!!) due to overcrowding I am very much considering never going again. It’s just not worth the mental burden, even if travelling tho and fro isn’t as big a deal to me as it was a few years ago or when the show was still in Leipzig (which I think had a much more welcoming atmosphere than Cologne does the one time I went).

However, they are not immune to development cuts (see witcher 3 reveal “controversy “). Besides that, I just want to go into the game fresh, with no expectations.
