Podquisition Episode 200: It Is The 200th Episode!

We’ve somehow made it to 200 episodes of this weekly gibberish! We raise a glass of Fantarito and Cyberpunk beer, we go round the twist, we reminisce, and we talk about some of our favorite games of the past four years.

I have to say, without this podcast, I probably wouldn’t have found Laura.
Laura was my discovery. I’m living full-time for more than a year now and she helped me get my courage up.
Thank you for being a role model, Laura. <3

Yeesh, Whenever I see Toadstool now I can’t help thinking, “that’s what Trump’s cock looks like.” Another bit of zest for life shaved away…

Congratulations for 200 episodes! I have enjoyed the ride and listen about half of the episodes at least twice over. But… I think I am done now. The return of the Q&A Section triggered quite a bad depressive episode in me. As a person who also has a creative drive and aspirations, but who has not, even after years of trying and actually publishing a novel, the recognition or material success to support oneself without a having a normal day job, the recurring discussions on how hard it is even if you “have made it” and have been remarkably successful.… Read more »

Asahi black is also very nice, if you can get it ^_^

My favourite episode is the one with the warning edited in before Laura tastes some (apparently) stuff.

While we’re all reminiscing, the episode with Justin McElroy (I think it was 40-something) is one of my favorites. Jim talking sugar about Monster Factory got me intrigued into their work, and holy crap did that open up the mother of all content holes for me and my wife.

I found Undertale overrated. It was ok, I never really laughed at any of the jokes. completed the 1st play through and cannot be bothered with the “truth ending” stuff.

Well, since you asked for it specifically, Gav: *puts on Angry Engineer’s Pendantry Hat* 60º Gav! 60º! (Or two 45º and one 90º.) All the angles add up to 180º like they taught us[1] in school barglebarglerageblahblahblahraarghangrynoises! *shakes fist* Honour is now satisifed. (And hooray for episode 200 and congraulations all round, to the next 200!) … I really DO need to go listen to Gav’s music after all this time, y’know. I think I lstened to one, once maybe, but probably ought to make the effort. (Seems churlish not to after extracting the urine…!) [1]I say “us” because while… Read more »

This was a really great episode. What a nice celebration and a bit of a nostalgia blast! Congratulations on reaching 200 episodes, and all the best for whatever the coming years bring to you all 🙂

Unless I have my numbers wrong the last guest was Jim Trinca 95 episodes ago. Please get Lorne on again and Jonathan Holmes.

I forgot about the gross, weird stuff Jim would say in the opening. Good times.

One of my personal favourite episodes is still the Lorne Lanning episode all the way back to episode 17. As they had a slightly more high profile guest on so they are slightly more well behaved until Laura brings up a sex game and by the end of it Lorne is going on about dead prostitutes.
