Titanfall 2 is brilliant, but it doesn’t look like luck (or an audience) has been on its side.

Let’s look at why it all fell apart, and why this is a shitty thing in the wider scheme of things.

Ok, a little late, but I just finished the game. I absolutely loved it! The story and gameplay were a breath of fresh air. Respawn really knocked it outta the park with this one and EA have a good thing going for them. It’s too bad they can’t see it. As far as sales go, Titanfall 2 ranks number 4 out of 20 in the U.K. charts, which seems good (I can’t really tell, no sales numbers have been released as far as I know), but knowing EA, if I didn’t sell a million bajillion units, it ain’t worth it.… Read more »

I’ve seen this Jimquisition about 10 times, mostly playing it in the background, but not until NOW do I see the title is TitanFAIL

I like to think that Titanfall 2 was released when it was because EA thought they could counter Call of Duty. They technically have with how good the game is but that doesn’t mean it will grab people who are stuck in their ways.

You know, those guys who bought all of the Call of Dudes.
