The Jimquisition: The Reviewbisoft Problem

It’s Monday, you cheeky ape, and that means it’s time for The Jimquisition! While I’ve done over 200 videos in this series, this is “episode one” of its all-new, fully-indie era. Now it’s in full HD and at 60 glorious frames-per-second – unlike Assassin’s Creed Unity, a game that incidentally features quite heavily in today’s video!

Thanks for your amazing support so far, and I’m thrilled I’ve been able to get right into producing content so quickly. In addition to this video, look forward to an Escape Dead Island review hitting this very site tonight! I’ll also have Grand Theft Auto V and Super Smash Bros. stuff coming to you this week as well.

Just went for a quick browse on Savvvy Gamer and noticed Lewie’s latest article. Detailing more idiocy from Ubisoft.

I thought I’d post this here and share.

I always thought that this kind of hate stems from the old days of video games. Or rather the stereotypes that came with it. The hot girls and jocks laughed at the guys playing the video games etc. Then years later when video games have become pretty mainstream, the jocks and girls that laughed at the nerds are suddenly a “nerd” or “geek.” Hopping on the band wagon like they were always part of the group or something.

Do you have any intention of putting up your old videos on this new site?

Great video – I was waiting for you to cover Ubisoft’s latest balls-up. It’s also nice to see you’re earning a decent wage through Patreon. I don’t have a twitter account, so I thought I’d use this site to raise an issue that’s bothered me (hopefully you’ll get a forum at some point?). Anyway CCP games, who now hold the rights to the World of Darkness franchise, have just sent a cease and desist letter to people trying to port Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines to the Unity engine. This project was entirely non-profit, and would have checked if people… Read more »

First off, I hope everything goes well with your ambitions good sir! Secondly, will you still make videos with Yahtzee? Or is that out of the question? If so, it would be nice for Yahtzee to join you, it’s because of him I know of you. I am quite fond of both of you, and it would be a damn shame to see Yahtzee go down the “Mounting Doo, be doo-lee-shious!”(I say…as I just finished a Mountain Dew :/) path. Either way, I love your content, and(sincerely) THANK GOD FOR JIM!!!!

Glad to see you sprinting on! I think it’s funny that the game is still broke a week later, the embargo, the bugs, the mobile apps you have to use in order to get chests (and then don’t link up properly so hey lets tie up one of your assassins in the mobile app for 24 hours while they retrieve the chest we told you you can pick up in-game with Arno…). And the biggest laugh of all comes from the fact that they pushed this turd so hard while not sending out review copies of AC: Rogue, which is… Read more »
