Boys, boys boys. I don’t even play the same sort of computer games you do but after the captivating Jumanji podcast I am addicted and you did it again with another Duane “The Rock” Johnson film. I have no bloody idea what the hell you were talking about but I’m laughing out loud on my drive to work and that’s a fucking feat of entertainment. Special love to Conrad who does a marvellous job of attempting to talk about a film in the same room as Jim and the general fizz and bonhomie of the show. Ain’t that much bonhomie… Read more »

As nice as it is seeing episodes done on newer movies, will you guys still be doing a balance of new/old stuff (if not only for the sake of not quickly burning through all the newer stuff too quick)?. That and I’m still waiting for that Bloodrayne 3 episode.

I think it’s possible that destroying half of chicago could turn out for the best. Sure, it’d be costly but they could also rebuild it with less segregation, thus helping with the systemic racism a bit. I mean, it’d be a better solution than most of the ones that get thrown around.

The new Tomb Raider was pretty decent, I’m curious what you will all think of it. I have major problems with a plot twist in the 2nd half which I feel crippled the rest of the film and made it feel much more generic, but the first 2/3rds of the film is a really solid adaptation of the reboot game.

While I didn’t regret watching the film I did feel it was just above average. Predictable. I kinda felt the only thing this had in Common with the Game was the Monster types and the Name. The Monsters where not really in the film that much and barely any buildings got demolished. Should have had more Monster Mayhem at least.

This is the first movie I have rented for this show, or ever since before Blockbuster folded. I didn’t regret giving Microsoft US$5.33 for my time.

I wonder how you both felt? *listens intently*
