On the one hand, I skipped the movie this week and had absolutely no idea what the fuck anything that was said in this podcast was supposed to mean. Based on that, I’m not sure if I missed out or not by skipping The Wizard, but I’m leaning towards “no”. Also, as a huge Dead Space fan, I’m actually kinda giddy for Dead Space: Downfall. It’s definitely not a good movie, but considering how dour The Movie Boys have been lately, my body is ready for some gleeful, inoffensive trash on that level, and I might actually take the time… Read more »

Ah the Powerglove. What a hilariously overhyped failure. Yet even today some Nintendo fanboys will scream about how “ahead of its time” it was.

Yeah, sorry – one of the basic requirements to be “ahead of its time” is that – are you ready for this, fanboys – IT ACTUALLY HAS TO WORK. It also has to work CONSISTENTLY. It couldn’t even clear either of those two hurdles, let alone both of them.

Two and a half hours!? I just watched it the other day (a charming little film from a more innocent time, before Tori Amos came along and ruined everything) and wouldn’t have thought there is THAT much to say about it. Anyway, I’m sure yous have made it all thoroughly entertaining as usual.
